Many of you know the story of what has happened to Armine. She is the one sitting above Mom. She was hit from behind by a drunk driver while riding on the back of a bicycle. The MRI taken at the hospital showed a thumb size tumor located in the spinal canal between the first and second vertebra up very high under the skull. She is now in San Antonio, Texas with Don and Jana Hilton (your cousins). It is a very difficult surgery to remove it and Dr. Hilton and a team of 4 other neuro-surgeons will remove it next Tuesday all at no cost. It has been an absolute miracle that we have been able to get this far. The tumor is wrapped around one of the cerebral arteries going to the brain and they had to close and destroy the section that was wrapped. It has also pressed the spinal nerve in the canal. She is a strong member of our branch.
