Long Plane Ride!

We were very tired and others close by were doing the same as I was. This is in London late at night. We had 4 1/2 hr. layover in Chicago and another 4 1/2 hr. loyover in London. We arrived in Yerevan, Armenia at 1AM and the president was there to pick us up and took us to a hotel. He had to go get bottled water so we could brush our teeth safely. Breakfast was with 4 Russian soldiers in the next table. Armenia is still under the control of Russia. Georgia is not. Armenia is a non proselyting mission but Georgia is OK to proselyte. We stayed at the mission home in Yerevan only half a day for pictures and orientation plus he made me his 2nd counselor then the 7 hour terrible drive to Georgia. It was very difficult to to walk accross the boarder with 6 big pieces of luggage plus carry on. We had to go thru 3 sets of boarder guards. Armenian, Russian and Georgian and all of them searched the empty car, us and the luggage. Fun but we made it. Ask Mom about the roads.
