Many farmers raise their own bees. Here, he shakes off the bees carefully and takes the tray to the house. We ate the honey and honey comb about an hour later with dinner. It was the freshest honey I have ever eaten. His bees are not agressive at all.
We have not seen a lawn mower yet in Georgia or Armenia. This is how they cut the lawns even in the backyard of our chapel. They do let the grass get quite tall first.
This is a distillery at the home we ate lunch at. They had 5 big barrels full of 5 different kinds of berries and fruits that were rotting. After some days they put some in this pot and light the fire under it. The alcohol steam goes thru the water tank and out.
Sunday morning we had the Baptism of Elen on her 8th birthday. We walked down a long path to get here. After we had church in a home there. Only 2 sisters are members here and President Dunn tries to get down to them about twice per year so they can have the sacrement. We took three vans on this trip, so we had about 25 in attendance.
There are hundreds of caves on this mountainside. The entire village used to live in these caves. Now only a few live in them. The two you see with a door and windows are now being lived in. The others are up on top in the village.
