These were all photos taken in August through October
This picture was taken on a poor picture day. I am located next to the stonehenge high above Tbilisi in the background.
This was our first visit to the stonehenge located on top of a mountain overlooking Tbilisi. It is very large. It was done by a religious organization and all the stone carved murals are Christian in their story and from the bible. It is not old but done recently. A small church is located on the other side. Mom didn't make it up on this trip, but did make it two weeks ago.
Mom is standing a long way from it. They are still working on a few panels. There are about 25 pillars and they are very high plus the one crossways at the top. The murals are located on all sides of the pillars and all the way to the top. I would say there are about 300 stone carved murals.
I liked this mural a lot. I am standing 8 or 10 feet away from it, so you can see how large each mural is. They were all very well done and most had great meaning to them. They had murals on all four sides and then others all the way to the top of each pillar.
